The future U.S. Marshals Museum will be a stunning 50,000 square foot Museum boasting a National Learning Center, showcasing education of our nation’s history and civic literacy, along the banks of the Arkansas River in Fort Smith, AR. The Museum will educate, inspire, and entertain visitors with state-of-the-art exhibits and programming that highlight the 225+ year history and achievements of our nation’s first federal law enforcement agency, the U.S. Marshals Service. The staff and team at the U.S. Marshals Museum are currently in the fundraising phase for this $55 million project. Discussions with architects have resumed in 2016, and we are hopeful for a 2018 opening.
